- Q: Can my vehicle be remapped?
A: You can check our vehicle coverage list or call us as new vehicles are being added all the time.
- Q: Why choose remapping over tuning box/module?
A: Tuning boxes fool the ECU in to thinking that the engine requires more fuel by giving false sensor values. Although gains are made this causes bad engine running and poor economy and reduced life of engine components.
- Q: What if I am not happy with the remap?
A: All original files are kept so vehicle can be put back to standard
- Q: What about my fuel consumption?
A: Improvements in fuel consumption of up to 20% are possible, especially in turbo diesel powered engines.
- Q: what is remapping?
A: Remapping is the term given when tuning the data stored in the ECU of a vehicle, this data maps the fuel, timing and turbo parameters at the differing loads/RPM etc to control the engine by optimizing these settings we can extract more power from your engine.
- Q: what about if my car is already modified?
A: not a problem just contact us with your requirements.
- Q: Will this affect MOT emissions test?
A: No the emissions will be within the MOT requirements.
